Building beauty

Outdoor carpentry is often part of a complete renovation project, but can also be a stand-alone project, encompassing all types of wooden structures and other materials. All work is carried out by a highly skilled team of carpenters and joiners.

To make your outdoor carpentry project a success:

  • Make sure the work is carried out by an RBQ-licensed general or specialist contractor.
  • Select materials that are high-quality, durable and match the style of your home.
  • Hire someone to create technical drawings for more complex constructions.
  • Prepare the ground with a solid foundation so the structure withstand any climate.

Do not:

  • Choose a contractor without an RBQ license. Your own safety is at stake.
  • Use treated wood for patio coverings and fences.
  • Carry out exterior carpentry work before landscaping.

Doing the work. Building the dream.
At Eco-Verdure, our management and on-site teams
will design and build living spaces that reflect
your taste and comply with the highest standards of quality.

Decks and platforms

For a long time, patios and decking were seen as accessory spaces and used as a transition between the patio door and the garden. Today, this feature has become a genuine outdoor living space, allowing you to enjoy the most beautiful evenings with family and friends. Decks and platforms can be built on different levels, in different materials, and can include planters, lighting and outdoor kitchens.

Poolhouse

There’s nothing better than a comfortable, functional living space with clean architectural lines to unwind during a day at the pool. The bath pavilion can be custom built to reflect your wildest dreams. Have an idea? Let us guide you through the infinite possibilities.

Sheds and storage space

Whether you need a complete garden shed or a simple storage space, our teams can recommend sleek and stylish options for all your seasonal essentials.

Pergolas and shade

Add a touch of warmth to your outdoor space with our pergolas. These elegant structures are made to measure with open or fixed roofs and can be enhanced with accessories such as lights, speakers, patio heaters, screens, shade cloths and more.

stunning woodwork done right.

Building your project,
one step at a time.

Start by deciding what you need
How do you envision your backyard? Do you want open or closed living spaces? Should the atmosphere be designed for small gatherings or bigger occasions? What type of materials do you like? Do you have a list of needs and wishes for this project? Knowing what you want before you begin will help you stay within your budget and finish on time.
Technical plan
If the project is complex, it’s a good idea to have a detailed technical plan to ensure your vision comes to life exactly as you imagined.
Compliance and authorisations
Make sure you apply for and obtain all the permits required for your project. Just know, you may need more than one permit if the project is ambitious.
Infrastructure
Before work begins, the ground will need to be leveled and compacted. This ensures a stable base for the foundations, which can be constructed from various materials like piles, sonotubes, or concrete.
Outdoor carpentry
Once the woodwork is done, the project really starts to take shape.
Connection to services
Certain structures may need to be hooked up to the house's electricity, plumbing or gas line.
Installing the equipment
At this stage, the lighting and heating system, as well as any BBQs, grills and ovens are installed.
Delight
Your structure is finally ready. Now it's up to you to make the most of it!
